I assume the wedding of Princess Diana and Prince Charles in 1981 was 1 of the initial royal weddings most of us can bear in mind. Her dress, when I was younger was so lovely to me and the romance of the day heavily influenced wedding trends for a long, extended time.

The wedding of Princess Sophie and Prince Edward in 1999 is a single I actually keep in mind – I thought how graceful Sophie appear and soaked in all the particulars. The wedding was lower important (they insisted guests didn’t put on hats) but nevertheless had all the tradition of a royal wedding.

I remember staying up and watching Princess Mary wed Prince Frederick in 2004. it was such a modern day fairytale – an Australian girl finding and marrying her true adore – a prince from Denmark. I fell in love with Mary’s nod to Australia in her bouquet, her gorgeous Mantilla veil and even the calla sleeves on her gown.

I’m a bit of a sap when it comes to romance – Sweden’s Crown Princess Victoria married her individual trainer Daniel in 2010 and right after riding in the royal carriage as newlyweds, traveled down the river in the royal barge – the same a single her parent’s employed on their wedding day over 30 years ago.
