It’s not often we have an inspiration shoot focusing completely on fresh blooms, but this shoot – a collaboration in between Muesli & Yoghurt and Stewart Leishman did just that!
Katie of Muesli & Yoghurt explains, “This series was trying to use the really easy pink rose and making it one thing a bit far more special. And for someone who wanted some thing a little understated. I completely enjoy ‘blushing bride’ otherwise identified as Serruria florida (quite fitting truly) so mixed with the rose, a black berry and ranunculus, providing you three very cute spring/early summer time bouquets.
As nicely, I wanted the pink to complement the green and grey, bringing a bit of colour (but not also much) to the girls. Often pink can be misused or appear a bit tacky, hopefully this proves otherwise! And the fur offers that little bit of sexy texture to the entire series.”
The “bride” model wore a Lusan Mandongus bridal gown, with the girls selecting their dresses from high street retailers. The photographs were taken at the Church of Nations in Carlton and the gorgeous Carlton Gardens.”
